Can someone please help!

yesterday whilst using the free version(no trial Period) update appeared, clicked to install, seemed fine then Updated Terms of Use popped up, but no script, no click agree button. UToU has now froze on the page, cannot close Acrobat reader down, tried to put flash player in trash won't allow as AR is still open. Technical department can't/won't help . Been directed to here. I cannot work as the pdf file I was working on is blocked by UToU Page. Getting really peeved off
