Help!!!!!! Adobe Pro makes me "Sign in" everytime and then freezes

HELP......Please!!!!  Every time I open a PDF, it makes me sign in to access my Adobe Pro. It opens my brower and I sign in and then it tells me to close the brower and I will be signed in.  That is not the case at all and the document freezes.  Told me to even download the adobe acrobat Pro at one point which I have now done three times and done the set up.   I am losing so much time.  I have read through the forum about clicking on the "Hamburger" on the left but I do not have that (Windows).  I have one on the right and I have clicked it but don't see any option to disable the new functions.
