What method/software did you use to create the offending PDFs?  AND.. what software is giving this error?  Acrobat Pro DC?  Reader.  The more details you can provide, the better chance we have at helping!

My best,

Hello Dave,

Currently using Adobe Acrobat X1 Standard (add-in to Excel).

Every time I create a PDF from Excel the main document converts correctly, however several embeded logos and photos get dropped from the PDF and the following message is displayed. 'An error existis on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.'

I have checked for all updates (microsoft and Adobe). There is a suggestion that X1 Standard is no longer supported, this may be part of the problem. I have been using the X1 for many years without any problem. The motivation to use X1 is to allow me to convert more than 1 file into a single PDF.

If I convert the Excel file using 'Microsoft Print to PDF' the document and all pictures/photos transfer. This suggests that it is not a problem with Excel???

Thanks in advance

Julian

Hello Dave,

Just completed a couple of checks. PNG files appear to print in the PDF, however JPG files are dropped off the file. Does this help?

Thanks

Julian
