Help! Got an”internal error occurred” multi messages and now it’s frozen

I'm using the Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit, and was editing a pdf document and have been working on this one for several days. I've been editing for about eight hours today when I went to open up another document from the home tab, then several 'internal error occurred' pop-ups came up and now one is frozen on the screen with all the texts gone. 3/4 of the rest of the program text on the screen is gone. It won't let me tap on anything else on the screen, and instead makes that dinging noise and re-flashes the blank adobe acrobat pop-up window.

restart your computer and hope for the best.

also, learn to save your files periodically with increasing version number appended so you don't risk all your work in the future.

-------------

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
