Help. I've used this app for over a year for paystubs

Question

I've used this app for over a year for paystubs in my small business. But as of today, I cannot edit the text without the pdf looking distorted. Not doing anything different, so I can't figure out why. I uninstalled and installed again, downloaded to a Mac but they are both doing the same thing once the text is deleted. It looks too be distorting the whole file once I click edit pdf. Below is attached imagine of the issue. It should be just a clean like gray box but it just distorted and pixelated. Please help.

Where is this PDF coming from? Is it saved out of accounting software, printed out of Word, or something else? If it started as a scan, then it could be the case that Acrobat is converting the printed material in your scan to editable text automatically. If that's the case, then maybe letting Acrobat do that automatically is causing the bluriness. Since image resampling is something that you can do when you're using Recognize Text, maybe trying to do that before you Edit would be helpful.

But that's just a guess from me. If none of that is helpful, you might want to try posting a screenshot with a little more information about what you're doing and how you're doing it would be helpful in figuring out what is going on here.
