Help Needed: Glitch with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on Amazon WorkSpace

We're encountering a peculiar issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on one of our user's Amazon WorkSpace. Despite running the same software bundle as others in our team, this particular user faces a unique glitch that renders certain parts of the application transparent intermittently, allowing clicks to pass through as if the application isn't present.

Here's a brief overview:

  • The issue is isolated to the Amazon WorkSpace environment; the user's office computer running the same software is unaffected.
  • No similar issues occur with other software or applications, including Adobe in web browsers like Chrome.
  • We've undertaken several troubleshooting steps, including:
    1. Restarting Amazon WorkSpace.
    2. Installing the latest Windows updates.
    3. Uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 & Adobe Genuine Service.
    4. Issuing a new Amazon WorkSpace with a fresh software copy.
    5. Reinstalling Visual C++ 2013 (x64) runtime engine for software.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Hassan362323314jnd,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

In case you are looking for a solution, it looks like an issue with the preferences file corrupted.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3PmBkRx...
