Help on opening Acrobat Pro after reinstalling on a new Mac?

I own CS5 Design Premium. Had to reinstall when I got new MacBook Pro MacOS 12. All programs installed properly but for Acrobat Pro (I have the product codes). Acrobat Pro opens but it doesn't do anything. Cannot open any files. Can't even close it without using force quit. It shows that it is open in the upper bar but there are no menu items to choose. Thought I would try to reinstall but when I look at the Adobe folder, the uninstaller has an X on it and won't open. Any ideas on salvaging this program for use?
