So I have been using Adobe Livecycle for the past 2 years to create PDF's. It is a great program but we had quite a few issues with merging documents and other bugs. So I decided to purchase Acrobat Pro DC because I saw it had create PDF options with merging etc. We need to create a lot of tables in our documents but it seems people are saying to create them outside of Acrobat Pro DC with word or something like that because its easier? Just a bit confused here...any advice on how I should make these docs? Thanks

Acrobat is not meant for creating files from scratch. You should create the basic layout in something like Word or (better yet) InDesign, and then convert it to a PDF and perform final edits in Acrobat (like adding form fields, etc.).

Make sure you always keep a copy of the original file, though, in case you need to make larger changes to it later on.

Are you aware that AcroForms (Acrobat Pro) and XFA-forms (Designer) are not compatible?
