Need help removing these lines around the text.  I paid a resume writer a few years ago and now I want add some content, but these lines showed up and I can't figure out how to remove them.

I ended up right clicking on each line in the edit mode and clicked on cut.  It worked, but was tedious.  Thanks for the idea.

Sorry, I gave an Illustrator example. But Acrobat has some options, save as a Word document or use the Edit PDF tools to select and delete the lines.

the version aligns with the current acrobat so that's my best guess, but who knows.  the op could have done (a lot) better.

You can select them with the Direct Selection tool (A) and choose Select > Same > Appearance

Then delete the selection and repeat for different fills.

When you post a question you always need to tell the Adobe program you are using
There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs

    assuming you're using acrobat...

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
