Help with preflight and transparency

Hi, 

Im completely new to this part of adobe.  Ive created a colorful workbook that i want to send into ingram for pod printing. 

it requires to be  PDF/X-1a:2001 format. Ive run the preflight and it comes up unable.

When i run verify compalincce with 

PDF/X-1a:2001 this comes up 

 I am stuggling how to get it to flatten  Ive tried to do the flatten preview , checked off the options like so

and then have gone to preflight 

 and have conintously been getting this message. 

please help me with all the the errors , inlcuding the annotation error and how to figure this out
