Hi. Ask for help using Adobe Acrobat XI

Hi

I would like to ask a help for using my Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.

I bought the serial number few years ago.

Recently I I formatted my computer and trited to reinstall Adobe Acrobat XI Pro but it didn't work.

As heard from customer service center, my serial number can no longer be used because the number of computers be activated is limited and I have used up all of them.

I totally didn't know that the number of computers be activated is limited.

What I didn't understand was that the service center said as follows; "if you deactivated your account before format of computer and then installed Acrobat, it could be working." But, there were no notices or warnings before I formatted my computer.

Therefore, could you please treat my activated computer account to be inactive? I would like to use my account because I paid the seiral number by my money.

Contact Adobe again and ask for an "activation count reset" (use those exact words). It's best you don't mention it's for Acrobat XI, as they might try and send you back here (we can't help you with this issue) or tell you that version is no longer supported (true, but not relevant). If they refuse to help ask to talk to a supervisor.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Uninstalling an app from a computer does not deactivate its license. You may still install the app on the new computer. When prompted to sign in, follow the onscreen instructions to deactivate the app on the old computer. If you still experience trouble please check out the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activation-deactivation-help.html

Hope this information will help

Regards

Amal
