Oh guy, that’s not going to work.

If you want to remove, or replace, a vector image that’s one thing. But you’re never going to be able to reliably edit vector points within a vector image in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

You need to go back to the original AutoCAD file, work from there and replace the existing vector art with a new, corrected version. Or better yet, have them run you a new, corrected PDF from the updated/corrected AutoCAD file. You’re built to lose here.

We’d need more specifics to be able to help, like:

• How are you getting stuck? Are you getting stuck? Or is your system getting stuck? 
• What version of Acrobat Pro are you using?
• What system are you using Acrobat Pro on? And what operating system is it using?
• What do you want to do with Acrobat Pro? What do you expect? And what results are you getting that you don’t expect?

All that said, you may find that editing PDF files in Acrobat is often not the preferred way to do things. You may find it better to go back into the source applications where your PDF was created from, and do the corrections you want there and create a new PDF file with the fixes you desire.
