Hi, @nrhsna, can you please elaborate on the documents?

    Were they created within Acrobat?

Can you successfully OCR other documents?

What is the nature of the document’s contents: handwritten or digital text? Is it just objects (and not text)?

Is there any selectable text in this document, or is it all just an image of text at this point?

Thank you for helping to narrow down possible issues.

    Hi Gary,

    1. the documents were not created within acrobat.
    2. yes, I can successfully OCR other documents.
    3. the contents of the documents are digital text
    4. at this point, there’s no selectable text in this document.

to give you more context, seems like the ocr will stop at a certain page (e.g., pg 36/100) and is unable to continue due to the error. the previous pages which had no issue to be ocr-ed is affected by this and the text therein would still be non-searchable.

    thank you in advance!

What happens if you only OCR the problem page (e.g., pg 36)?

What happens if you OCR around the problem page (e.g., 1-35, then 37-100 or small chunks)?

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall?
