High Quality Logo Not Rendering Properly in Acrobat

Hello,

I have a logo that is high quality and shows as high quality in PowerPoint (M365). When converted to Adobe PDF, the logo is distorted and pixeleated along the edges.

I have played with the compression settings, but this has not changed anything.

However, when viewing the PDF in other viewers, for example, on the iPhone, Microsoft Edge, and Adobe Express, the logo once again appears to be more high quality than what is shown in Adobe Acrobat.

I believe Acrobat is distorting my logo. Please help me fix this. Files attached.

I've viewed the file in Acrobat and cannot see any distortion or pixelation, but maybe I don't look hard enough. Can you show the issue (e.g. by means of a screenshot)?

Hi Mikel, see attached. Perhaps distortion or pixelation aren't the best terms to use, but the logo integrity is degrading even when in fullscreen mode of Acrobat. Zooming in or out does not help, as these imperfections show up on any zoom level. Not sure what the best term to use is, but I want the logo to look as seamless as it does in other softwares or in powerpoint. These issues often occur along the edges of the logo.

The logo was designed by an artist. I can also provide the raw editable files, and the PNG files used if you'd like to see them. If there's any modifications I can request of the artist that would help stop Acrobat from messing with the design, please let me know.

I've also tried unicolor versions and the SVG versions and the distortions still occur. Lastly, all the rendering settings in Acrobat are checked (such as smooth images or enhance thin lines). Unchecking them makes these distortions worse.

Hi @Exciting_friends7108

Thanks for reaching out.

It may be the case that your copy of Acrobat is preferred for quick rendering. Try the following and let us know if that helps, as the same PDF file renders fine on other apps.

- Launch Acrobat

- Acrobat > Preferences (Mac), Menu > Preferences (Windows)

- Preferences > Page Display.

- Try checking preferences, click Ok, relaunch Acrobat, and try again.

Let us know how it works. Also, ensure that your copy of Acrobat is up to date.
