highlight a line of text in a pdf.

Question

I have a PDF pulled up on laptop. I'm trying to highlight a line of detail to be yellow highlight. I click on the pick "highlight Text". Nothing happens.

This is the most unintuative program I've ever seen. So clearly, if I want to highlight text..... I dare not select the "highlight Text" function. Brilliant.

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

Try repairing the application installation. Ensure that the application is updated to the latest version.

In Acrobat, go to Help > Repair Installation or check for updates.

If this happens with a particular PDF, check if it is a scanned PDF.
