Highlight not working

Question

New to Acrobat (free version). I am on an iPad.  Was able to highlight a pdf document a couple of days ago but now cannot.  I have the comment bar at the top and the Comment, and Text work but the Highlighter doesn't.  When press Highlight then go to the text, the magnifying window shows but does not highlight the text.  Any suggestions?

Hey there,

As described above, commenting tool like adding Comment and Text feature works smoothly, only Highlight function doesn't appear. Such behavior could either be expected with a specific document or when something wrong with the commenting settings. Check the following-

1- Right next to the Comment section where you have Highlighting tool, check the highlighting Color, is it White? If yes, then change it to some visible one.

2- If not, then check with a different file as it could be document specific issue.
