Question

Highlight several fields with black color

I have a list of employees from 1 to 300 on a pdf file.

I would like to highlight several rows. For examples:

I want to highlight row 1, 5, 8, 20, 60, 73, 91, 101, 122, 190, 199, 204 and 278.

Is there a way to supply these row numbers to Adobe DC and it will automatically highlight these fields rather than do it manually.

Thank you in advance.

You can use the Search and Redact Text for this task. That's anyway how you should be removing text, not by adding "black highlights".

Marhaba Samer,

Acrobat may not work like a database where you can make it to perform tasks on the content. On the other hand the task you're after may be scripted.

Post your question on this Acrobat SDK forum, you may get help there… https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-sdk/ct-p/ct-acrobat-sdk?page=1&sort=latest_replies&tabid=all

Thank you so much Mr Zaid.

Have you heard about any other application can run this task please?

The company want me to finish this task by Monday.

If the file is a PDF, then Acrobat is the solution, however, you may need to do manual highlighting, or see if someone that can script the task for you to speed up the process.
