Highlight tool shaped like oval [Branched]

I am having the same problem.  Yes, i used the Recognize Text tool in the document which was a web page printed using the Adobe Printer.  When I use the highlighter, the selection is very large and is shaped like a oval.  It is not able to just select words or letters or lines of text.
