Highlighted text in editable PDF

Question

I purchased an editable PDF from Etsy and when I open it in Adobe and add my words to the allowable fields it keeps a highlighted box around my text.  I e-mailed the PDF to myself thinking that it may go away, but the highlighted background still showed up.  Any ideas on how to get this removed??

Are you referring to the bonding box appears while editing the text or highlighted background? What is the work flow that you follow?

It would be more clear for us if you can share the screenshot of the same here.

It might have been because of how exactly the form was created. Please check with a different document for testing purpose.
