Highlighted text will not create bookmark

Question

I create a document of 33 certificates with the person's name on it. I highlight the name and create a bookmark (so I can later split the document by bookmarks into individualized certificates for each individual). It started where ocassionaly the add bookmark wouldn't work, using (Ctrl) (b). Now it rarely works in any method. I have tried (ctrl) (b), right clicking the highlighted text and clicking Add Bookmark, on the bookmark panel clicking the "add bookmark" icon - nothing works. After a dozen or more tries, it will finally add it. This is crazy! Please help. Full paid for Adobe version.

Sorry, no. I tried each one and it still does the same thing. I have literally clicked the [Add Bookmark] button over 30 times to finally get it to add one. This is nuts when I have a 30+ page document.

For testing purposes, can you try Ctrl+B in another PDF?

Also, if each certificate is one page you can split each page into its own PDF. Will that work for you with this document?
