Highlighter - Custom Color Buttons

I do lots of highlighting.  One-click color selection would be helpful.  Currently, the highlighter color can be selected through properties (ctrl+h) or through the toolbar:

I would like to find a way to add one-click buttons for various colors.  I am envisioning something like this:
