Highlighter only goes vertical or horizontal

Hi,

I haven't used adobe in a month or so and there has been an up date. I only use this to highlight electricity lines on a map. When using the highlighter I highlight the line I want and then when I stop the line goes vertical or horozontal, which is on no use to me. How can I stop this?

Hi @brendan_3771,

Sorry for the troubled experience. This issue could only be possible if the document you are trying to highlight is either a scanned document or it is was a picture and was converted to a PDF document.

Is it possible for you to share the file with us and a video recording of what is happening at your end? Last but not least please let us know the version of Acrobat installed on your machine and OS name and version.
