Highlighting issue printing dark us PS

Hello everyone!  Wanted to see if anyone has any ideas for the problem i'm having.  I'm using adobe pro 2017 and the issue i'm having is that when i print a pdf that has been highlighted moshly yellow and printing to a printer usign PS driver there seems to be a shadow in the backgroung so the highlighting looks darker.    I have highlighed somethng in work and converted to pdf and that prints fine, in the same converted document i highlight in adobe and that will print with dark hue or shadow.

I hope this makes some sort of sence!  I've tried everything and nothing seems to work.
