Question

HIPAA Compliance & local saving

I am trying to use Adobe Acrobat to fill out healthcare forms. I am not sending the forms to anyone, just locally saving them and printing them.

I'm trying to figure out how to make sure that Adobe is not somehow getting that information. What steps can I take to ensure that?

They are not. They have better things to do.

However you can keep them off any cloud storage sites for maximum protection--not from Adobe, but from hackers.

The only true way to safeguard your documents, is to disconnect the Internet on your computer.
