How are annotation authors tracked when a PDF is shared between multiple people?

I have a question about the annotation workflow in the new Acrobat integration with WhatsApp.

Suppose Person A annotates a PDF and shares it with Person B. Then Person B adds their own annotations and forwards the updated PDF to Person C.

How does Person C know which annotations were made by Person A versus Person B? Are annotations attributed to their respective authors, or do they all appear as a single set of comments? Also, will Person C always see the annotations from Person A, or does that depend on how the PDF is shared or saved? 😟

I'm curious how annotation history and authorship are handled in this workflow, especially when documents are passed between multiple people.

If anyone has already tried this workflow or has experience with it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
