Question

How can I create a PDF with a sound (.mp3 file) that doesn't require viewers to have Flash?

Hi there,

I have a simple PDF that needs to include a short sound file .mp3. Is there a way to include without the viewer needing Flash?

I've used Rich Text and inserted sound file - but getting complaints that flash is needed.

Thank you so much!

Why it's disappearing isn't really important. All browser makers will have blocked it by then, and Adobe will stop distributing Flash Player. Developers have had years to prepare but many are ignoring this. We do not know Adobe's plans for Acrobat, which will no longer be able to use Flash Player as it won't exist.  Just as all old web sites that used Flash will stop working.  Flash & The Future of Interactive Content | Adobe Blog

Nope. It's unfortunate.

Nor do we know what will happen when, after 2020, Flash disappears forever.

Why is Flash disappearing in 2020?
