I would assume because the website blocks copy & paste or just any right mouse click... both are common blocks

The browser can't limit what's going on inside the PDF plugin, though, so that's not the issue.

This is a duplicate of: How can I cut and paste text from the pdf document I just created in Acrobat DC?

OK... Maybe I'm not being clear enough.

I have created a pdf document of a property assessment. I then view the pdf document. Next I wish to copy & paste the owner of the property name into my appraisal software as a simple text entry in a field where the owner of public record belongs. Another field in the appraisal software is for the parcel number. The goal is to copy & paste the parcel number (or whatever info) from the pdf document into the software rather than copying & pasting the info from the original webpage where the pdf document was originally created.

Get it?

Yes, I got it. I still don't understand why you simply can't select the text (in the PDF), copy it, and then paste it in the other application...

the best option is to make the changes then make a new PDF from that

what software [Photoshop, Word etc] did you use to make the PDF?
