Question

How can I get rid of portfolios once and for all?

I don't want portfolios, I want to work on - or just look at - 1 (one) PDF file at a time.

Often perfectly regular pdf files created by a perfectly normal pdf program, open in Acrobat as a portfolio. I hate it!

Is there any way to turn off all that portfolio junk once and for all?

Otherwise I may switch to another PDF-program, because all that extra work with the portfolio enclosure of the files is a constant annoyance to me.

Please help me before I discard of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

Thanxalot!

Why did you create portfolios?

I did not. Acrobat Pro did it without asking me.

Here is a pdf file, created by Outlook. When I open it in Acrobat Pro, it gets encapsuled in a portfolio.

That is what I don't want:

How did you create it from Outlook, exactly? Also, you posted in the Reader forum but it seems you're using Acrobat.

I'm moving your question to a more relevant forum.
