How can I use a jpg file as a watermark?

I had the exact same version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my computer as I do on this brand new Computer, and now I cannot apply a jpg file as a watermark in my Adobe file. Does anyone know how to fix this? On a 24 hour deadline, any immediate help would be appreciated.

Thanks for asking the question. I left the file open all night without touching it, but I couldn't remember the exact error message (which went away) about the PDF file not functioning properly. I performed the exact same task, and it worked! You are good luck! Thanks so much.
