how create a link to an attachment in acrobat pro DC

Hi! I'm trying to understand how to create a link in a PDF to another PDF. It is working only when I don't make changes to the document path (I mean when I use it only on my mac). It is NOT working when I send it to another person or when I change the path of the PDF I like to be linked on my computer. So I was trying to solve the problem with the attachment as it was described here in the community. But I didn't get it. Maybe because it was described for another program version? I hope to find help. Thank you alot!
