How do delete a digital ID?

I have the same question, and I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.5. As above, there is no "signatures" link in the Preferences window.

In Acrobat 9.5.5, you'd select: Advanced > Security Settings...

and then: Digital IDs

and in the list to the right, select the one you want to remove, and then: Remove ID

Did all that but it does not remove it. Literally nothing happens. I cannot find the file location, either.

Go to Edit - Prefs. - Signatures - Identities & Trusted Certificates, select it and click Remove ID.

The problem is there's no "Signatures" link in the Preferences window.
