My document has been returned with an e-signature and now I need to sign it and send copies. How do I sign it?

If that person chose to lock after signing, it really is locked. Did they?

Hi Julieh,

You will be able to sign the document only if the document is not locked after adding the signature.

As you have mentioned that the document is e-signed, did you try to add the signature to the document?

If not, refer to the steps mentioned in the following links to sign the document.

- Signing PDFs in Adobe Acrobat

- Sign PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Let us know if you experience any issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I sent it to someone and she signed it. Now I need to add my own signature to the document, but it is not giving me the option to add my signature. How can I add my signature so that I can send her back a final copy for both of us to keep?
