How do I bypass Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro request for access to keychain (Mac) when attempting to apply a signature to a document?

Acrobat 9 is a very old version, not compatible with any current operating system, especially not those by Apple.

Problems with it are to be expected. In fact, it should not run at all on a current OS.
