How do I change the margins in print pdf?

I have a document which I have pdf but the margins are 25mm in the print setting and I cannot chnage them.  I have given the oringin document 0mm margins but the pdf print margins I cannot change.  Does anyone know how to do this please?  Thank you

You can't change margins in a PDF. You can:

  • change the margins in the source document (Word, InDesign, etc.) and export a new PDF
  • scale the PDF when printing
  • resize the text frames if there aren't too many frames or pages. Make a copy first, as it may or may not work.

Where are you seeing these margins? On the printed sheet? or on screen?

Also: where did the PDF come from: which program and what were your steps in creating it?

Ignore the margins in the print properties; they do not affect PDF printing in any way.

Sadly, the 25 mm forced margin when printing is not discussed the. But thanks.
