I am logged into my account and my name appears at the top.  When I go to make a comment, the name of a former employee shows to be the reviewer.  How can I change that?

Hello CDLA,

As per the description above, you want to change the Author Name on a comment, Is that correct?

Please try the following steps mentioned below:

  • Change the Edit > Preferences> Comments to allow the use of a name other than the login name.
  • Create a comment and change the author to the desired name.
  • Set the properties for the comment to be the default property.

If the Adobe Reader is installed by your organization, you have the option to set the application preferences to allow the use of a name other than the login name displayed in Adobe Reader.

As an editor, I frequently receive reviews with reviewer's name in the comments.  By trial and error, I found that opening the comment pane, selecting all (or using CTRL select), then right clicking, selecting properties, selecting general, and entering a different name such as anonymous worked.
