How do I change the text to italic or roman when adding comments to PDF, to then open in InDesign to Import PDF Comment changes? Thanks!

I love the new Import PDF Comments in InDesign, but it seems that adding or changing character styles is not an option when editing the PDF. It would be handy if a book title is being referenced and the designer didn't italicize it originally to just type it correctly, and have them apply the change instead of explaining that it needs to be done. Am I missing something?

Hi Steveoliverbyu,

If you are referring to the "Add text comment" under the Comment tool, there is no option to change the text to italic or bold in Acrobat/Reader application.

Could you please elaborate your query.

It would be helpful if you share the exact workflow you do and what exactly you are looking for.

Let us know if you are referring to something else.
