Question

How do i disable Translate in Adobe Express?

More precise, how do i disable the “top bar” that pops up for every pdf file i open. It says “This document appears to be in a different language. Would you like to translate it to English using Adobe Express?”.

Acrobat is installed in English and the documents i open is written in Swedish so this pops up for every document i open. I have looked in the Preferences but have not found anything.

Any solution? :)

    Hi Averdahl,

    Thank you for reaching out.

At the moment, there is no specific toggle for the translation suggestion banner. However, I will check with the team to see if there are any options or registry settings that might help.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thanks,

An option to disable this pop-up or at least let us select more than one default language would be very appreciated.

In the EU, we usually work on two or more languages and this pop-up is very annoying.

    Hi @romantic_Wonder44e5,

Thank you for sharing this feedback, and we completely understand where you're coming from. Working across two or more languages is common in many regions, and having a banner prompt appear on every document can genuinely get in the way of daily work.

While there is currently no dedicated preference to turn off the translation suggestion banner, a couple of workarounds are shared in a related community thread that you may find helpful: https://adobe.ly/4yVRvLf

Please let us know if either option works for you, or if you need further help.

    Thanks,
