How do I edit interactive form fields on an existing form?

I have an existing worksheet that has interactive form fields.  I would like to set that font type and size so that when anyone opens it and types, the fonts match the questions.  Is this possible?  Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.

I don't have access to Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard, so I don't know what type of form support was built into Acrobat back then. If it was anything like more modern versions of Acrobat, you should be able to do that. Bring up the form editor: Forms>Add or Edit Field, then double-click on an existing field. This will bring up the field properties dialog. Go to the "Appearance" tab. Here you can change the font and font size (and other properties).
