how do i find several pdf's at one time

Problem - I am trying to find all scanned invoices that are on a statement, that I will be paying. which I then want to mark paid.

to do this at the moment i have to search in windows file explorer for the invoice number one at a time because it's quicker than using the adobe find tool.

This is too long winded at the moment.

So digital workflow aim is

scan invoices (whereby the part has been received and the invoice is stamped with a date received) into searchable pdf's with automatic file naming

Enter amounts & supplier name, date into stock management softwear from the pdfs. which is human data entry at the moment

I want to then mark these pdfs somehow to show they have been entered into the softwear

When the statement arrives

I want to get all the pdfs of the invoice numbers numbers which are on the statement, mark them as paid.

the invoice numbers are in the pdf so it's data extraction.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Hi katiet,

Sorry for the delay in response.

If your documents are non-scanned you can try indexing: Creating PDF indexes, Adobe Acrobat else you can run explorer search on documents names/titles.

Please let us know if that helps. Or if you have already found a resolution/workaround to this query, please reply to third with your findings that will help.
