How do I get a Acrobat DC printer driver. I can not print to PDF in Indesign.

I am trying to print printer spreads in Print to Booklet, but no printer driver available.

The only Acrobat DC printer driver is the Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver instance that is created when you install Acrobat DC on Windows. There is no equivalent for MacOS (prohibited by Apple).

However, in general, PDF via distillation of PostScript is really a bad idea. All color management is lost as is live transparency yielding potential printing and viewing problems later. The resultant PDF file is often highly bloated and often is not fully-searchable.

Better you created actually logical pages and let the imposition, i.e. the “booklet making,” be done by your print service provider or if you are printing yourself, using either print device booklet making features or even one of several Acrobat plug-ins.
