How do I get rid of the new 'What do you want to do today? home screen. It's an assault on the senses.

I opened Acrobat today to be visually assaulted by the new home screen. ‘What do I want to do today?’ Remove the home screen!

Try to disable “new Acrobat” (unless you already did). I’m using the normal (non-new) Acrobat, and I don’t see the ‘What do I want to do today?’ thing (which indeed would be truly annoying).

Ideally, we should be able to disable the home screen altogether, of course.

Hi, @joffd if you go into your Settings/Preferences and select the “General” tab, about 2/3rds down you’ll see the option to uncheck the “Show Homescreen…” You will note that I have this turned off. Sadly, it will show up again when you start Acrobat, but once you close it, it should be gone during your daily activities.

FWIW, I’m not sure of who came up with the Homescreen colors, but I do not approve.

Yes - I had already turned this off. I was hoping it would turn off the Home screen for good - but no, it reappears when you restart Acrobat as you said. I don’t really want to have to leave Acrobat open permanently to avoid the horror home screen when I want to open a pdf. It’s ridiculous we can’t turn it off!
