How do I go from page in doc then to bookmark then back to page in doc? Alt Left Arrow does not work

How do I go from page in doc then to bookmark then back to page in doc? Alt Left Arrow does not work

    Seems to say use shift control up or down arrow.  none of these options did anything when pressed.  A few times shift control up did bring me to first page of document which was not last page I was at.
