How do I lock a pdf?

Hello all,

I am trying to have my pdf lock all fields after I have signed a pdf. This option isn't working for me and I'm trying to figure out why. When I go to the signature box I select properties > signed > and select mark as read only. It does not work.

That should do the trick... Are you signing the form by clicking the Signature field, though?

@try67 Yes I click the signature box and it shows me my name and I type my password to sign. Still doesn't lock all fields afterwards.

So what exactly does it do? Are some fields locked and some not? Are none locked at all?
