How do I permanently delete AdobeCollabSync?

As verified by Process Explorer, AdobeCollabSync keeps locking output folders on my machine, preventing me from generating PDFs to them from Madcap Flare. How do I uninstall AdobeCollabSync or stop it locking folders, without having to uninstall Adobe entirely?

You can't uninstall just this component, but this should not happen. What's the exact version number of the application (You can find it out by going to Help - About Adobe Acrobat)? What's your OS version?
