How do I remove the snapshot tool from the toolbar

Question

My acrobat just updated to version 26.1.21789.0 and now the toolbar has a snapshot tool which I can’t remove. The tool itself wouldn’t be a bother if it didn’t load like 10 ish seconds after the file is opened. I use the built-in snipping tool like a normal person I don’t need this snapshot tool. Let me remove it.

Can you please share a screenshot of the window you get where you see the snapshot tool? Are you on a Windows machine or a Mac, and what is the OS version? Is it taking time while opening all the PDFs, or is it specific to one PDF? If you are on a Windows machine, you can disable the tool from the Acrobat's Menu > Preferences > General, then deselect Open snapshot for markup, and select OK. ​@jaden_0242Aaaahhh...I’m actually using the Classic view! Let me switch over to the new Acrobat layout.If you click the three dots on the toolbar and select "Customize Toolbar," you can uncheck the tool to get rid of it. As for preferences, I’m on a MacBook Pro, so under Page Display - Rendering, I match the smooth text setting to my screen type (on my PC, I set it to Monitor). I also turned off "Show large images" in Page Display to speed things up, and disabled "Show online storage" under General for both opening and saving files.Honestly though, I stick with the Classic view most of the time—it just gives me way fewer headaches overall.
