How do I stop getting a subscription error message with Acrobat?

This is virus type behavior that keeps popping up over the top of other work even when I am not using Adobe products.  There is not an easy way to close it so I can continue other work.  Please remove this virus type behavior.   Very poor ethics and makes people want to look for alternatives.
