How do i trigger a Action based on FTP Files arriving

I am converting certain files that are FTP'd into a certain folder to postscript (already figured this part out). I want minimal to zero manual intervention and need help triggering this action based on when the files arrive in the Folder. Any ideas ? I am using Acrobat Pro DC.

Not possible with Acrobat. It doesn't have a "watched folder" functionality, but Distiller does. It only works with local folders, though. I don't think you can set it up to watch an FTP folder.

Ok..makes sense. So then how would I set Distiller to watch a Local Folder and trigger corresponding Actions in Acrobat DC ?

Distiller converts only Postscript files into PDF!
