Question

How do I upgrade from Acrobat Pro 2014 when Catalina won't let me open the program?

I have Acrobat Pro 2014. Like everyone else who's upgraded to Catalina on a Mac, I've lost access to Acrobat and Reader.

How the *bleep* do I upgrade if I can't open the program? I've gone in circles on the Adobe site trying to figure this out.

Thanks all.

- There's no such thing as "Acrobat Pro 2014". There's Acrobat Pro 2015, 2017, and DC. The former two have a perpetual license, the latter is a subscription.

- If you purchased an upgrade from an earlier version you don't need to have that version installed on your computer.

Simply install the new version and you'll be asked to enter the serial number of your old version as a part of the installation process.

Thanks for catching the 2014 remark.

Definitely I was not paying attention to detail hard enough.
