How do I upgrade from Standard to Pro?

First, this site is absolutely awful.

No link goes to where you need it to go, no answers can be given for your questions. Terrible customer service.

I want to upgrade from Adobe Acrobat DC Standard (which I have) to Pro. When I try it says it needs to upgrade to prevent overlap. Duh. I click on the upgrade and it takes me to my current pdf. Why? What does that have to do with my downloading Pro? What does it have to do with upgrading my subscription?

Makes no sense. All I want to do it go from Standard to Pro. How do I do this?

you cancel your standard subscription and add a pro subscription, Manage your Creative Cloud membership

if it looks like you'll incur an early termination fee for cancellation, using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html
