How do you Batch Convert Colors (CMYK to grey) and Preserve Black for PDFs - Newspaper People Help!

We are hoping to have a script or batch process enabled to drop multiple, single page PDFs into a folder or run a simple script that will convert and ave our PDFs before they are sent out to print.  Anyone have an experience or a process already in place?

Thnx

Erik

Correct answer Stephen Marsh

Manually using a “native” Acrobat Pro preflight profile or fixup on individual PDF files.

Or using a hot folder driven process such as Enfocus PitStop Server etc.

Or using “workflow” software such as Kodak Prinergy etc.
